The call to the consecrated life is born of an initiative coming wholly from the Father, who asks those whom He has chosen to respond with complete and exclusive devotion. This is the work of the Holy Spirit, who inspires the desire to give oneself fully, in imitation of Christ and for the sake of His Kingdom. — Vita Consecrata, no. 17, St. John Paul II, Apostolic Exhortation on the Consecrated Life (1996)

The Divine Mercy Chaplet

Those who sincerely say “Jesus, I trust in You” will find comfort in all their anxieties and fears … There is nothing more man needs than Divine Mercy – that love which is benevolent, which is compassionate, which raises man above his weakness to the infinite heights to the holiness of God. – Saint (Pope) John Paul II (Krakow, Poland – June 7, 1997)
